24 Agosto 2018In year 2015, the Law Decree #3 has introduced to the Italian Republic a formalization of the concept of “innovative SME”. An “innovative SME” is an Italian SME operating in the field of technological innovation, possessing special requirements which liken it to a technological startup in terms of innovation capability and potential of technological impact. The TA management board deemed that our company qualified for this special status, so we decided to go for it in order to enjoy special provisions reserved to start-ups and to highly innovative companies. We thus prepareed and filed an application, and after various rounds of interaction, vetting different aspects of our business and our lab-to-market chain, we finally obtained clearance!
We are proud to announce that dating from Monday 16th July 2018, Ticinum Aerospace is an “Innovative SME” under the Italian law. We are glad about this official acknowledgement of what we actually felt we already were, and we also cherish the idea of somehow reviving the “start-up” spirit that has characterized our company since the beginning.
