Pavia, Italy. — Aug 20th, 2020 — Ticinum Aerospace (TA) today announced it has joined NVIDIA Inception, a program designed to nurture startups revolutionizing industries with advancements in AI and data sciences.

TA owns a core technology that analyses satellite multispectral data and street-level images using AI-based techniques to identify and assess risk-relevant features in buildings and urban environments. Such techniques underpin the DeepProperty (a.k.a. CountFloors) service for risk factors mapping, serving re/insurance and risk modeling companies. All of this to cut off uncertainties and make the world more resilient to natural disasters.
The NVIDIA Inception program will boost the capabilities and AI knowledge of TA, which is committed to a continuous learning process to evolve and improve the techniques at the core of DeepProperty. TA plans to access technical expertise via the program to escalate the efficiency and effectiveness of its core processing modules.
“Inception is a real boost for our activities”, stated Gianni Cristian Iannelli, CEO of TA and program manager for the DeepProperty service. “We joined to take advantage of the several game-changing benefits over the entire AI cycle, from R&D and learning to production. NVIDIA is at the forefront of AI, and we can totally trust their support. We will be able to test new ideas in addition to improving existing solutions; plus, as an additional benefit, we will have the chance to increase our visibility to potential customers and speed up our growth”.
